“I don’t understand why they can’t be like me.  Why do they have to change?  How can they stand there naked during the winter?  They are pretty when they change, but someone should tell them how silly they look standing naked when it’s cold.”                                                                                             – A fir tree on oak and maple trees

“We were over there.  Why did they move us here?”

“They’re always moving things.  Their arrogance makes them think that they can improve Nature by moving it around.”

“But I liked it better over there.”

“I think they moved us to make it safer where they walk.”

“Fair enough, but I wish they would have asked us first.”                                                                                      – Some snowflakes talking

***

“I love it!  I am any shape I want, and go wherever I want.   How long will I enjoy these freedoms before they bring in regulations determining my size, shapes, and destinations?”                                                                                                     – A cloud

***

“I’m made on what?  Such stuff?  Whose idea was that?”                                                                                                                                – A dream

***

“That’s it!  Finis.  Finale.  Caput.  The fall of the curtain.   Expired.  Omega.  Conclusion. . . ”                                                                                       – The End speaks
